Another terrible picture of me.

This one is taken at Miramar, one of my favorite Buenos Aires restaurants. There was one other woman there this time, which made me feel a tad less special, but that's okay. I had the rabbit.

That's Oscar behind me there. He remembered me from last time, and kissed my cheek when I came in. Turns out he's a photographer. He showed me pictures he took of Marisa Tomei when she ate here.

I'm getting a little sad I'm coming home soon, if only because I'll miss Miramar.

The wost part of traveling alone in Europe was that there was no one to take cute pictures of me.

I have been reading every entry with unbelievable jealousy! I got to tell you Julie you should be very proud of your bad ass self. The 4th (or the shopping season) has been going great! Everybody has been humming and things have been pretty smooth. The apt is ready so when you get back we want to see you for days to hear about everything! Jess and I ARE going to go with you next time for sure.

I love the monkey… it looks like Lenz… by the way they shot the TV show yesterday- jess made me wear pants…

Love,

Da butcher

I hate talking to strangers and you probably get tons of mail since your book so I feel pretty dumb, but I wanted to thank you (or get pissed at you) because you inspired me. I am challenging myself to read 100 books in a year, I feel like a nut now that I have told everyone I know. I am blogging it and I see immediately that making it public makes it real, and weird. Thank you.

Julie:
How can I reach you to be interviewed for an article on MSN?

Best,

Okay, funny picture, but what I apparently really needed to know is when is your next trek to the Live Music Capital of the World? I have co-workers who are mesmerized by items in your book and are dying to ask you questions. Perhaps you could have a reading at my office. ;-) Shoot me an e-mail when you have a chance, please 'mam. Your dad or Onetta should have it on file.
