...is what the roofers, who without warning rang our doorbell at 7:45 this morning, and who are now pounding around on our roof with very large boots and drills and much falling of plaster, did not say.

I too just finished your book. It made me laugh on the subways of NYC, in an airport in Shanghai (flight cancellations in an airport where people think it's OK to roll their luggage up and over yu when you stop to sip your water)and whilest waiting for a root canal to begin. All times where laughter was surely needed!
Like Ted, I feel like we'd be friends if we met. Looking forward to the movie!
