Interview Tomorrow

I'm going to be on the Leonard Lopate show tomorrow, should you be interested. I'm doing it, live I believe, from 12:40 to 1, EST. Can't promise I'll say anything interesting - we'll see.

Julie, thnk for a wonderful read!!just checked, we don't get LL down here in the boonies. listen, kiddo, for a long time i thought a lot of this was media hype until i finally read the book...i literally couldn't put it down, and had great fun 'annoying' my own 'Eric' w/ anecdotes the past 24 hours. lol, so then he asked me, 'what are you going to cook? sheesh! i am a slave to epicurious! i cook 10 recepies/week.... i suggested lobster, lolol....i wanna see him do the dirty work, this man who served in WWII...

in a sense, i'm light years ahead of you, b/c my then-roommates and i were learning the crepes thing back in Paris 1970; we used to throw them out the window, and i imagine the alley cats found them fun.

it was the calves liver, plus the lobster a l'americaine that did me in....much more i could say. kudos, and i might even attempt calves liver...

For anyone not in range of a station that carries Leonard Lopate's show (or is he only on WNYC? dunno), you can listen here. Just click on the link over on the left side.

just tuned in to julie and leonard lopate. i had no idea who he was, but i just couldn't miss this. i've been listening to the station all day long while catching up on the original blog (march 2003).

but -- of course -- work had to interfere - got a call right at about 12:40 with some nonsense. but i did get to hear a bit at the end.

hope i get a chance to catch you on something else. i know i sound like i'm a stalker, but i promise, i'm not! just loved the book and felt this kinship because of the buffy obsession, hate for all things republican (well, i do have a few republican friends, but we no longer discuss politics and i didn't find out 'til it was too late), love of food, the too small kitchen, poverty . . .

i'm so confused. yesterday, i was caroline and now i'm calbear. i had some trouble signing in, but now i'm wondering if i'm logged in as someone else. that's what comes of having too many different user names and passwords. hmmm.

It is the best time to make plans for the future and it's time to be happy. I have read this post and if I could I wish to suggest you few interesting things or advice. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things about it. Great blog. Thanks!
